Emma Finney, M.A., AMFT, APCC

At some point, we all face emotional struggles. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, or personal growth, it can be isolating. I’m here to offer support, compassion, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help guide you through these challenges.

Having someone who listens and creates a safe, validating space is crucial to the healing process. Together, we’ll work to understand your needs, build coping skills, and improve communication to foster healthier relationships. Often, the coping strategies we rely on are learned from past experiences, but may no longer serve us in current situations. In therapy, we’ll focus on developing adaptive communication and coping strategies to express yourself more clearly and confidently.

As a compassionate therapist, I support individuals, couples, and families on their healing journey. I’m a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) with training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and EMDR. These evidence-based approaches support emotional regulation, trauma recovery, and relationship improvement.

I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University and am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy (DMFT), further enhancing my ability to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care.

I look forward to partnering with you on your path toward healing, growth, and stronger, healthier relationships.
