Natalie Hull, M.A., AMFT
I am an emotionally focused therapist specializing in helping couples and individuals navigate relationship challenges. My approach is experiential, exploring attachment needs, underlying emotions, and subconscious beliefs that may contribute to distress. I strive to create an affirmative, non-pathologizing space where clients feel supported and empowered as they work through life’s complexities.
It’s common for partners to feel stuck in cycles of criticism, insecurity, or avoidance. My role is to interrupt these patterns by addressing relational issues at their root. I reframe conflict as a problematic interaction cycle that often masks deeper vulnerabilities and unmet needs.
Couples Therapy
Utilizing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Method techniques, we explore how attachment styles influence the relationship dynamic. Together, we work to replace reactivity with greater awareness, emotional connection, and improved communication. My goal is to help couples rediscover trust, foster intimacy, and build stronger, healthier relationships.
My clinical experience includes working with couples facing challenges such as betrayal, anxiety, intimacy issues, infidelity, family conflict, financial/job stress, mood disorders, and major life transitions.
In individual therapy, you are the expert on your life, and my role is to collaborate with you as we explore the patterns you’re looking to change. While my primary modality is Emotionally Focused Therapy, I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) when appropriate to address your unique needs.
I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship challenges and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Together, we focus on present-moment processing and emotional regulation techniques to foster adaptive behaviors and secure connections—with yourself and others.
Individual Therapy
I am committed to creating a welcoming, non-discriminatory environment where clients from all backgrounds feel valued and supported. I work affirmatively with individuals and couples in the LGBTQIA2S+ community and believe in the importance of honoring each client’s unique experiences and identities.
