Hi, I'm Jewelianna, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). I earned my M.S. in Clinical Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. My approach is grounded in Humanistic, Gestalt, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and I am EMDR trained. I provide trauma-informed therapy that helps clients process difficult experiences, understand patterns, and move toward healing with compassion.

I believe healing doesn't come from becoming a "better" version of yourself, it comes from embracing the parts of yourself that have always deserved acceptance. I approach therapy from a human-first perspective, recognizing that every person's story is shaped by their experiences, relationships, and the ways they have learned to navigate the world.

My goal is to create a warm, genuine, and collaborative space where you feel seen, heard, understood, and accepted. I strive to show up as a real person while maintaining a safe and professional environment where you don't have to perform, filter yourself, or have everything figured out. Clients often describe me as genuine, warm, playful, accepting, and energetic, and I believe healing happens through a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Working with Individuals

I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, complex trauma, self-worth, identity exploration, life transitions, and feeling disconnected from themselves. I believe that the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors we often judge ourselves for developed for a reason, and therapy offers a space to explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion.

My goal is to create a safe and collaborative space where you can bring all parts of yourself, the parts you embrace, the parts you are still learning to understand, and the parts you may have learned to hide. Together, we can reconnect with your strengths, challenge the stories you have internalized, and build a relationship with yourself rooted in compassion and authenticity.

Healing isn't about changing who you are; it's about understanding yourself more deeply, embracing all parts of who you are, and creating the freedom to live more authentically.

Working with Couples

Relationships can bring up some of our deepest wounds, fears, and patterns. I work with couples who want to strengthen their connection, improve communication, rebuild trust, and better understand the cycles that leave them feeling stuck or disconnected.

Using an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) lens, I help couples explore the emotions, fears, and unmet needs underneath conflict. Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, I help partners slow down, better understand each other's experiences, and create more opportunities for vulnerability, emotional safety, and connection.

I believe couples often become stuck in painful patterns not because they don't care about each other, but because their needs for understanding, reassurance, and connection are not being communicated or received. My role is to help couples approach these patterns with curiosity and compassion while working toward a more secure, fulfilling relationship.

Whether you're navigating personal challenges, healing from past experiences, or looking to strengthen your relationship, you don't have to do it alone. Therapy is an opportunity to better understand yourself, foster meaningful change, and create the life and relationships you want.

If you're ready to take the next step, I'd be honored to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and deeper connection.
